John Coyle passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 John Coyle passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 surrounded by his loving family and close friends, and will be deeply missed. A larger-than-life presence, John had an incredible ability to connect with people anywhere, anytime, and formed countless lifelong friendships along the way. His passion for cars began at a very early age with one of his first words being "car." He began collecting muscle cars before eventually embracing the world of Cadillacs. That love led him to found Caddy Daddy, a vintage car parts company, 40 years ago. His nickname, Caddy Daddy, was born from a chance encounter, when someone called it out to him while he was driving one of his Cadillacs. What started as a local business grew into a nationally recognized brand, now serving customers around the world, with John known far and wide for his deep knowledge and enthusiasm for vintage cars. When he wasn’t working on Caddy Daddy, John devoted himself to creating a beautiful home with his wife, Jan, of 33 years. Whether moving boulders, planting trees, or shaping the landscape, he took great pride in designing a stunning garden and home with Jan where they could host family and friends for fun gatherings and lively games of bocce ball. With his warm, approachable nature and infectious sense of humor, John loved nothing more than sharing a laugh and brightening the lives of those around him. He is survived by his wife, Jan, and his children, Laura, Johnny, Jen and Debbie. John’s legacy lives on through his family and his dedicated, talented team at Caddy Daddy, who will continue his mission of providing vintage car parts to enthusiasts across the world—just as he would have wanted. — www.caddydaddy.com 📞 707-252-2339
