SEMA 2019

Another successful trip to wonderful Las Vegas, NV

We’re now back from the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas and boy, was it incredible! SEMA week is always one of the biggest weeks in Vegas, when it comes to the amount of traffic that the city sees, to the nice looking cars that drive up and down the strip, all day long. Last week was filled with highly modified and customized vehicles on the show floor, along with amazing and new innovative products that are currently out and some that are coming to the market.

We had the chance to meet with some pretty cool people, including the guys from Count’s Kustoms who had their dazzling, custom Cadillac on the show floor. Caddy Daddy supplied parts for the vehicle and it looked like an absolute show stopper! Chatting with the guys who worked on the vehicle was definitely a major highlight for us, as we got to hear their sides of the story, while building it. We also ran into Tim Johnson from Cadillac Kings of Las Vegas. He showed us his pretty slick arm tattoo and we had a nice little chat as well. He’s such a cool guy! The Snap-On booth also had a blue 2020 Corvette on display, disassembled, so you could see inside and how it was built. This gave us some insight on the new Corvette build quality, and we’re excited for our new Stingray, once it arrives at Caddy Daddy.

There were tons of vehicles at this year’s SEMA show and we were loving every minute of it! All different makes and models from every year we could imagine were throughout the convention center grounds. We were able to find quite a few Cadillacs inside and outside the venue, and we think it was more than last year’s show, which is always a plus for Caddy Daddy. As we think about next year, and how we were invited to show our 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz on the main floor, we are anticipating it to be another massive event. We’re striving to finish our restoration and get the 59′ running ASAP, so we can reach our deadline and be on the floor at SEMA 2020!
