How To Test and Fix a Classic Cadillac Distributor
1956-1962 Cadillac
In this tech tip video, Josh will show you how to test and fix a classic Cadillac distributor with the tools and parts necessary. It’s much easier to do this with the distributor out of the vehicle, but not necessary. This specific distributor is for a 1956-1962 Cadillac, but this method can be used universally for pretty much any distributor.
After testing, Josh will show you how to replace the points and condenser if they are bad, using parts from Caddy Daddy. With these steps, you’ll be able to pinpoint and fix your distributor problem, getting your vehicle back on the road safely.
