Part 3 – Installing the Cadillac camshaft and crankshaft

In this episode, Bob and Josh continue building the Cadillac 390 engine by installing the camshaft and crankshaft one step at a time. Doing it carefully and precisely is one of the main themes here, as rushing engine work is not ideal and can lead to future problems. This step-by-step process shows how to build the bottom portion of the engine, along with internal parts like the main bearing set and rear main seal to go along with it. As the engine build continues, we are getting closer to the day of putting it into the 1959 Eldorado Biarritz! Stay tuned!
