Technical Advisor / Restoration Expert
Growing up as the son of an Auto and Machine Shop teacher at a local high school in Napa, Robert “Bob” Simons has been around vintage vehicles since day one. Riding in 1930’s Cadillacs, to wild T-Buckets, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Bob has owned and restored various vehicles from Packards to Model A’s to 55′ Chevys, with the occasional boat thrown in. He also has degrees in mathematics, machine tool technology, and social and behavioral sciences. After owning a fabrication shop in Vallejo for some time, Bob left the auto industry and spent many years in the audio/visual industry.
“I’m excited to be getting back to my passion and being a part of the Caddy Daddy team!”

(his wife wanted something with a top…) His next project will be a Cadillac 60 Special, which was passed down through the family by his grandfather, after purchasing it in 1939. He is also currently working on The Iconic 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible.
